December talk

Today is the first day of the last month in 2016! I know you all hear this all of the time, but this year has gone and didn’t feel it go by!

Yesterday I received the news about my boss’s dad passing away from heart failure after going through some complications with his kidneys. This made me think about my Mom and Dad and how grateful I am to have them healthy mentally, physically and spiritually. I wish no body had to go through this awful feeling of losing someone in their life. I pray for comfort and support from my surrounding friends when the time comes for any of my family members and for my family to have support when God decides on my time to expire.

This month I will dedicate prayers and pray for anyone in need of the warmth and spiritual support.

With that opening statement, I will move on to a more exciting post. I am challenging myself to run an Ultra trail one weekend then a full marathon road the following weekend. I am starting this Saturday, December 3rd. 55k Isle du boid and next weekend doing the Dallas Marathon Full.

Houston Marathon: https://www.bmwdallasmarathon.com/

Isle Du bois website: http://endurancebuzzadventures.com/events/isle-du-bois/

Then, Bandera 100k on January 7th with the following week the Houston Marathon January, 14th

Houston Marathon: http://www.chevronhoustonmarathon.com/

Bandera 100k:  http://www.tejastrails.com/bandera/

Please pray for me to do well in all four races, currently my plan is to run to win the Isle du bois and go for a 2:50 or lower at the Dallas marathon. For Bandera 100k, I just want to finish in the allotted time so I can enter the Western States 100 mile lottery and just run the Houston marathon to enjoy the time in Houston with my beautiful wife.

Also, I am registering for the Leadville 100 mile run lottery in just a few minutes. I can’t wait to go back to claim my under 24 hr belt buckle up in Leadville, Colorado.

I’m always powering up with Generation UCAN and Chocolate Milk.
